After a couple weeks of preparations and review with Hector Julio for our Haitian Bible Conference, I am deeply blessed and overjoyed to report the response of the attendees. As we searched the Word of God together there were spontaneous times of worship, shouts of “Hallelujah”, and “Praise be to God” as people grasped deep truths about the glory of God as it relates to our lives. It was thrilling to teach such a responsive, engaging group of leaders and to see them getting excited about sharing the Word of God with others! We are already being asked to prepare a sequel with a broader list of invitees in the Haitian community. It is such an adventure to get to see what God is doing and be a part of it all in the Haitian population here in the Dominican Republic (estimates of 1.5 million Haitians here in the DR).
Please pray with us that God will continue to show us His strategy to reach this ever growing community.
