Each year during the month of February, we have a visit of brothers and sisters from Canada with the main goal of blessing and encouraging their brothers and sisters in the Dominican Republic. It is a blessing, for me, each year to host them in our community and at our church. As has happened every year, that’s the church sponsoring the camp. This year they worked along side of a Dominican team.

Me and my family along with Fey and Dani continue to work with the community of Maria Auxiliadora. Since last year the El Camino church has truly been our main focus, and at the beginning of this year we started seeing some major changes in our lives.

In middle of February, the children department at the church, held a workshop for Sunday School teachers, 28 young ladies completed this workshop.
This Sunday, on the 29th, the church will be having a baptism, please keep these young people in your prayers, that God will continue to make them men and women of God every day.
At the social work department, we are praying and working hard to provide better service to the community. The purified water center at our church, although facing some obstacles, in comparison to other years, this year has been the best of all. Before we were yielding 5% give or take, now we are more like between 13% and 15%. I think it is a great achievement and our goal is to work to get to 20% this year. With this water service the communities near our barrio are being served, at very low cost and getting good quality water which is a great contribution to their healthy lives. Our goal is to have water facilities in other communities. Pray for us to expand this work further.
