Once a week, Dr. Norma Batista comes to the T.E.A.R.S. School to consult with students in need of medical care. Knowing that Dr. Batista has a busy pediatric practice, we are grateful for Norma’s heart to serve our students in this way and for our friends in Canada for helping to support Norma’s service at the school. “It is a blessing to be able to visit with the staff and students and help partner in this way at the T.E.A.R.S. School.”
From coughs, to runny noses, to curious pains or irritations, Dr. Norma is able to provide medical care, offer medications that are on hand, or refer students to a specialist. This is such a great blessing to the families at the school who are, so often, otherwise unable to get the medical attention & medication they need.
