The Soto Christian Church is progressing well, thanks to the Lord and to you for your prayers and for your constant spiritual support. There are currently three other churches that have partnered with our church: The Reparadero Church, The Angelina church and the Church of Las Matas, Cotui.
The 19 cell groups of the church are running smoothly. Because of these cell groups our brothers and sisters from Haiti have easy access to the word of God. These cell groups are distributed at various strategic points (God’s Kingdom is growing! Praise the Lord!).
On July 27 this year, we will be hosting 2 weddings in this church. Two couples will be united in sacred marriage:
Samuel Davilma and Guylene Thimot
Abnet Jean and Marie Louise Dorlean
Please keep these couples in your prayers, that God is working and that it’s His perfect will.
The T.E.A.R.S. Ministries is in the process of preparing for conference with the Haitian leadership team, which will take place on July 19th this year.
The Soto Christian school is going through a great school year, children have made good progress and are beginning to understand many things, and they are now beginning the phase of reading and writing. It is an indescribable blessing to be part of this process. On June 10th, they start their summer vacation while we are working hard to prepare for the next school year.
Please keep us in your prayers and so you know what things to pray for, here’s a short list:
1. For the incorporation of the Haitian community here in the Vega and the spiritual growth of local churches.
2. That God will provide for the Haitian immigrant children here in the Dominican Republic. Specially for their health and education.
3. For Pastor Hector Julio’s family.

La Iglesia Cristiana de Soto está avanzando bien, gracias al Señor y a ustedes por sus oraciones y por su continuo soporte espiritual. Hay tres iglesias más que actualmente están asociadas a nuestra Iglesia: Iglesia del Reparadero; Iglesia de Angelina y la Iglesia de Las Matas de Cotui.
Las 19 células de la iglesia están funcionando sin problemas. Los hermanos y hermanas procedentes de Haití tienen fácil acceso a la palabra de Dios, producto de estas células, las cuales están distribuidas en distintos puntos estratégicos (!El Reino de Dios está ensanchándose! ¡Aleluya!).
El 27 de Julio del año en curso, estaremos hospedando 2 bodas en esta iglesia, La Iglesia Cristiana de Soto. Se unirán en sagrado matrimonio los hermanos :

• Abnet Jean y Marie Louise Dorlean
Les pedimos que lleven estas parejas en sus oraciones, que Dios sea obrando y que sea su perfecta voluntad.
El Ministerio T.E.A.R.S. está en proceso de los preparativos necesarios para organizar una conferencia con el equipo de liderazgo haitiano, la cual tendrá lugar el 19 de Julio del año en curso.
El colegio cristiano de Soto atraviesa por un buen año escolar, los niños han avanzado bastante y ya empiezan a entender muchas cosas, ahora mismo se encuentran entrando en la fase del aprendizaje de la lectoescritura. Es una indescriptible bendición poder formar parte de este proceso. El 10 de junio, ellos inician las vacaciones de verano mientras nosotros nos preparamos arduamente para el próximo año escolar.
Por favor manténganos en sus oraciones y como una ayudita de por cuales cosas orar, les dejamos esta breve lista de oración:
1.- Por la incorporación de la comunidad haitiana en la Vega y también por el crecimiento espiritual de las iglesias locales.
2.- Que Dios provea para los niños inmigrantes haitianos en la Rep. Dom. especialmente por su salud y su educación.
3.- Por la familia del Pastor Héctor Julio.
