We are so excited to open up the school year 2009-2010. After spending the summer in preparations for new curriculum integration we are starting to pick up speed and are running with all the great tools we’ve been given. Partnering with Battalion Park Elementary in Calgary Canada we will study parallel units and share our learning with one another. The friendships that can be built across cultures, land and sea are extraordinary. Technology helps us keep in touch and Fed-Ex puts some concrete materials in our hands. When kids see their projects in the hands of students a world away they begin to realize how small the world is. I want that for our students. I want them to dream big and believe big. I want them to understand the power of education and love. I want them to do their best to be their best. I want them to KNOW so they can SHINE!
