At the beginning of November, we had the pleasure of working with a medical team from Puerto Rico. This was their 3rd trip since I’ve been working with T.E.A.R.S., and they are one of my favorite groups to work with. The doctors and assistants have HUGE hearts and work hard to bless different local communities with medical care and medicines that they would not be able to afford otherwise. This year, the clinic was located in Soto, where T.E.A.R.S. and Pastor Hector Julio work closely with the Haitian community there. The doctors saw 555 patients in two and a half days! Whew! I was able to lend a hand in the pharmacy where the prescriptions were being filled and then passed out to the patients.I really enjoyed being able to help out and also to spend lots of time with this amazing group of people! Many thanks to the team for taking time away from your jobs and practices there in Puerto Rico to come and bless the people of the Dominican Republic!
