Many of you have contacted us regarding the tragic earthquake that shook Haiti and the Dominican Republic yesterday. We thank each of you for the outpouring of prayers and support. We here in the Dominican Republic felt the rolling of the ground and swaying of the buildings. I was just getting home from picking up the kids when it hit. It felt like someone was jumping up and down on the bumper of our car. Fey and Rosa our neighbors, already outside started yelling, “terremoto, terremoto” as the ground continued to move for a few more seconds. We thank God everyone here is alright–but the same cannot be said for Haiti. What we felt was nothing in light of the devastation that has taken place in the city of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. » » Read more…
